MESSAGE FROM SALLY RAICEK AND PHIL SIEGEL

As Co-chairpersons of the 40^th Anniversary Gala of Congregation Chevra Kadisha-B'nai Jacob, we are privileged to be surrounded by a host of dedicated volunteers. They can be counted upon to step forward and offer a helping hand, no matter what the task. This is the continuing tradition of our shul and our families are the beneficiaries.

Fundraising is never an easy task, but this year's gala benefit was a difficult challenge. Faced with the continuing recession and having to compete with a litany of other worthwhile organizations, we had to work that much harder to ensure its success. With the leadership of Norman Raicek and Jack Waxman, we could not fail. Once again our volunteers delivered and tonight’s overwhelming success is the result.

We wish to offer a special thank you to all the contributors to our anniversary book, whose generosity and loyalty are very much appreciated.

There are never enough words to adequately express our gratitude to all our congregants who devoted their time, effort and contributions to make this a special event.
