MESSAGE FROM THE CONSUL GENERAL OF ISRAEL IN MONTREAL

It is with great pleasure that I contribute to this commemorative book, published in honour of the celebrations for the fortieth year anniversary of the amalgamation of the Chevra Kadisha- B'nai Jacob Synagogue.

I would like to extend my congratulations to the organizers of these celebrations, and wish you the greatest success with these surrounding events. To all the leaders, members, friends and supporters of the Chevra Kadisha-B'nai Jacob Synagogue, your association with this esteemed organization bears testimony to the enduring strength and commitment of the Montreal Jewish community, to Jewish life and culture. Please accept my best wishes for a very happy fortieth anniversary.
